1. Indian Trails Neighborhood (Palm Harbor)
This Palm Harbor neighborhood is known for taking Christmas lights seriously (and for its most famous resident, Denis Phillips)! Almost every house is decorated at the level of their neighbor in the picture above.
You can park and walk around or drive thru! If you decide to drive there can be long lines close to Christmas and watch for sign on the direction of their suggested route (Tip: weekdays and later in the evening are less congested.)
We walked through this year and would definitely recommend that if you are able. The parking was easy outside the neighborhood and the sidewalks weren’t too congested. We had to pull into the grass a couple times with our stroller but otherwise it was an easy and fun walk. As we walked, we saw the huge line of cars basically parked trying to get in the neighborhood.
In addition to lights, Denis & family sell hot chocolate on select nights to benefit charity (it was delicious!). Thank you so much to the residents who spend their time and money making this happen every year!
2. Largo Central Park
The city of Largo goes above and beyond every year just covering their large Central Park with Christmas Light displays!
There is also rides and food trucks most year too for a fee. Parking is packed, but normally not too hard since there is a lot for the park.
The kids will have a blast running around the space. Bonus: the playground is open too in past years even after dark during the lights.
