We are two local moms that write about family-friendly things to do in the Clearwater-St. Pete area. We hyper-focus on Pinellas County to help you find local events easily (because we can’t be the only ones tired of those huge Tampa Bay area lists).
Today we’ve rounded up all the Santa Paws where you can get cute pictures of your pets and dogs with Santa this holiday season. We wrote all about where to meet Santa in Pinellas and realized there were so many pet-friendly options that the pets deserved their own list!

Largo Central Park
There are a few different pet photo days in Largo, each benefiting different groups. Check the date specific website for details.
Donation-based photos supporting Suncoast Animal League
I’m not sure if this is with Santa or simply holiday-themed dog photos, but it’s for a good cause so we added it.
PetSmart Santa Photos
PetSmart does annual free pet photos with Santa. You can book a time slot online in advance on their website.
Countryside Mall Pet-Friendly Santa
Pet Supply Plus (Holiday Photo Ops)
Pet Supply Plus is having a “Jolly Jubilee” and the description say it includes photo ops.
Petco Photos with Santa
Tyrone Square Mall Pet Evening (2025 not announced)
International Plaza Pet Santa Evening (2025 not announced)
Bass Pro Shops (Tampa)
The closest Bass Pro Shop is a bit of a drive in Tampa, but we included it because they are known for their great Santa set-up and being pet-friendly. Their store and their Santa are both pet-friendly!
I called the Tampa location last year to confirm that their Santa photos are pet-friendly. The person on the phone told me you can do pet and dog photos with Santa at any time, but to make a reservation before online.
Dog Bar
Dog Bar is membership dog park & bar that is holding a number of holiday events this season, including 3 days of Santa pictures.
